people have reported sending this message to the White House
self-reported · one count per person per day · updated live
One short message. Two minutes. Add your voice to the count.
Any American can write to the President through the official White House contact form. Here is a short, respectful message that many people, across party lines, can put their name to. Copy it, send it, and tell us you did.
Copy the message. Feel free to edit it in your own words first — the count is for messages broadly along these lines, not identical ones.
Open the official White House contact form (opens in a new tab). Paste the message into the Comments box, fill in your name and contact details, and press Submit. The form asks for your mailing address, phone and email — that's the White House's requirement, not ours, and none of it ever comes to this site.
Come back and click once. That adds you to the count above.
Why a count?
One message is one message. A visible, growing number is what persuades the next person that it's worth two minutes of their time. That's all this site does: hold the message, make it easy to send, and keep the count.
What this count is, and isn't
It is the number of times someone has clicked "I sent it" on this site, limited to once per person per day.
It is self-reported. Nobody outside the White House can see what is submitted through its form, so we cannot verify sends, and we don't claim to.
It includes everyone who sent a version of the message — edited in their own words or sent before a wording change. The message's history is listed below.
What we store
The count. One number.
Nothing about you. No name, email, address, cookies, accounts, or analytics. The form you fill in belongs to the White House; this site never sees it.
For abuse prevention only: when you click "I sent it", the server keeps a one-way, salted hash of your internet address for 24 hours so the same connection isn't counted twice in a day. The address itself is never stored, the hash is deleted after a day, and the salt changes daily so hashes can't be linked across days. A Cloudflare "human check" runs on the click to keep bots out.
Server access logging is turned off. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, carries the traffic like any web host.
The complete source code is public, so anyone can check all of the above: Source code on GitHub.
